I begin this workshop with a overview of the foundations of creating inversions, wrist care, and a discussion on the importance of Bandhas and Drishti in an inversion practice. For each pose, I teach the build up and winnable gaps to access the pose, drills to develop the strength and understanding of the pose, integration of props (blocks, straps, and bolsters) to support the progression of the pose, and where to integrate the pose during a vinyasa flow class. Where applicable, and when appropriate, we use partner work to cause breakthroughs for every participant. This workshop can be customized as the studio owner sees fit - to be as short as 1 hour and as long as 3 hours.
