I've been Called the Intensive Care Bear.

My personal Journey into Power: I began practicing yoga because I had a boss who I found to be extremely irritating. I made myself a victim of this person's management style and I was an uncomfortable and tightly-wound version of myself.
Someone told me about Power Yoga and I was intrigued because I was promised that this style of yoga "counted" as a workout. While intellectually I understood there were benefits to practicing yoga, I wasn't interested in making the time for it unless it burned a lot of calories.
So, I took some classes. Something weird began to happen. When I practiced Power Yoga (for me, specifically Baptiste Power Yoga), the version of me who left the studio wasn't the same irritable and blaming (and I now see, lost) person as I was when I left my office. To be dramatic, those puddles of sweat I left on my yoga mat saved me from oceans of emotional damage in my life.
One day, as I was contemplating a career change, the teacher casually said "if you love this practice, consider it's time for you to start teaching it." That was it. Commence snowball on steep slope. Once I heard that invitation, I had to become a teacher. So I did.
After some time, and some more training, my inner voice spoke up and I knew I had to share this practice even more. I became a teacher of teachers. In order to be my best for my trainees, I got my training as a Life Coach to inform my coaching of teachers. I also started coaching people who didn't necessarily want to do yoga - but did want something more in their lives (and here's a secret: practicing asana or not, it's ALL yoga).
Out of leading yoga teacher trainings, I saw the opportunity to break out pieces of that work and create programs for people who want to grow in areas of their integrity, self-awareness and accountability - without signing up to become a yoga teacher. And that leads you to being here, reading about me. Hello.
Oh, and that boss, she's not actually irritating. It was me who was irritating. I see that now. Yoga.
My life is for love and connection as a platform for leveling-up.
If you want to up-level your life, I'm here for this. Intensely. Intensely, because I care about you. Intensely, because this practice changed my life. I am a human who was once so defensive and afraid of vulnerability that I was exhausted trying to keep up the ruse. The practice of Power Yoga led me to a practice of deep personal inquiry. Today, there are no stones unturned in my life. I will ask the same of you. I will push you to hold your chaturanga longer than you want to. I will empower you to look at where your life is not where you authentically want it to be. And I will support you to be your best self - as a creation, not a concept. The tools in my toolbox are at your disposal. Now, it's time for you to level up and ask for them.

What People Say About Me
My clients and students offer the most important feedback you can hear about me. What do they say?
"Lindsey holds herself accountable to self change, which is really HARD work. She doesn't put it on pause....rather she sees disorder, disorganization, pain, confrontation etc., as opportunity to move through the challenge in an effort to change and grow. What I have heard from her is that we have to work through all the moments that are difficult and when we most want a pass or pause button, we stay in the moment and try to find ease and lightness even in the hottest of situations.
This is what I love about Lindsey." - A. Lang
"This workshop was a truly life changing experience. The tools that Lindsey shared for shifting perspective and maintaining personal balance/accountability had an immediate positive impact. I am on my journey to becoming my highest self.” – B.Head
“All of the resources Lindsey provided were so helpful and made diving into such a personal topic easy and fun! I absolutely LOVED the part of the training where Lindsey taught us some of the tools she uses in life coaching. I found it very applicable in several areas of my life, especially in facilitating more yoga trainings.” – C. Kilgroe
“This workshop stoked my passion for living life to its fullest. It connected so many dots for me personally. I am very grateful to Lindsey for creating and offering such an important workshop.” – E. Burks
“The work Lindsey had us do provided effective tools for me to truly be honest with myself, balance my schedule and actually figure what I should be spending my time and energy on in the first place. ” – S. Loomis
"Lindsey's program put me in a safe space to explore my character, motivation, and grief. I have been going to personal therapy for almost three years and this workshop gave me something I had never experienced: a clear idea of who I am without any labels or narratives. I am more confident in myself after just one weekend!!" – C. Trively
