Promise
In this training, you will level up on your existing knowledge as a yoga teacher and a leader in your life.  You will learn what it takes to support others in their growth, even as you are a work in progress in your own growth.  You will continue your personal inquiry journey and develop your abilities to teach workshops, lead meditation, and receive intensive feedback.  

For
  • Graduates of a vinyasa-style, power yoga 200-hour teacher training, preferably Baptiste inspired and preferably from a school teaching to the Yoga Alliance Elevated Standards.
  • People who are coachable.
  • The program and content are physically, mentally and emotionally challenging and are suitable for persons who identify as healthy in those facets of their self.    

Expectations
  • Co-lead a 40 Days to Personal Revolution Program to ITCP trainees
  • Lead a workshop – either Arm Balances or Inversions or a workshop of your particular interest and skill set that you would like to propose.
  • Lead multiple meditations, from 10 to 20 minutes in length
  • Lead several mini-cool-down classes to trainees, similar to a mini yin class
  • Seek and ask for additional ways to flex your leadership and lead content
  • Market your workshop and 40 days program on your social medias and co-host those with the studio and facilitators.  This includes photography and promotion.
  • Marketing ITCP program in advance to recruit trainees.
  • 9 Leadership meetings that are about 1.5 hours each.
  • You arrive first and leave last every day – or you make sure you have delegated that to someone else on the leadership team to do for you.
  • Carrying the space – cleanliness, restocking the coffee/tea bar (we provide materials), hanging banners, keeping appropriate music playing, etc.
  • Inviting other 200-hour graduates to join the Sunday Methodology tune-ups (including current teaching team)
  • Making yourself available to each trainee for up to 2 hours per trainee of make-up sessions.  You are welcome (and encouraged) to require trainees to combine their make up session times to make this more efficient for you.
  • Attendance at a minimum of one day per each in-person session.  Attendance at all weekends is encouraged.  Attendance at Anatomy classes is optional.
  • Setting an intention for the program and bravely passing/no passing yourself on your own intention at the end of each weekend session.

  • Summer (June or July TBD) Marketing Training Session – think outside the box in how you market your yoga classes, programs, and self
  • 40 Days
    • Free participation and opportunity to see behind the scenes in public 40 days led by senior teachers or facilitators
    • Lead your own 40 Days with support: Materials from past 40 days shared, pre-planning meeting with leadership, mid-way meeting with leadership, and as much ad hoc support as you need along the way
  • Workshop – formatting for successful workshops shared, coaching on as many drafts of workshop/marketing as you choose to submit to leadership, feedback from your workshop, and live support during your workshop
  • Leadership meetings – 7 of the 9 meetings will offer Life Coaching tools with practical applications to your leadership style
  • Daily Keep/Stop/Start Feedback from Leadership Facilitators

Financial
​Opportunities
  • For each trainee that registers for ITCP after you have signed on as an Apprentice, you earn $100 if there is 1 apprentice and $50 if there are 2 apprentices.
  • 40 Days: $5/head of non-ITCP registrants in public ITCP program
  • Workshop:
    • Non ITCP trainees: $15 per head
    • ITCP trainees: $5 per head
  • Teacher Methodology Tune Ups: $5 per head (exempting any studio-owner required attendance)
  • Make up sessions: After a trainee has used their 2 free hours of make-up sessions with you, you may charge them $25 per hour for additional time with you.
  • Practice teaching sessions: You may offer to supervise practice teaching sessions for $10 per hour.

Results
  • You will be able to register your choice of hours – based upon your participation – with Yoga Alliance.  You keep up with your hours – any hours you are working in support of ITCP can be reported as CE or teaching hours. 
    • If you need CE – you can register any portion of your hours as CE.
    • If you need Teaching hours, you can register any portion of your hours as Teaching hours.  This is best if you are working towards your E designation.
  • Your understanding of the business of yoga will be a Level Above: leadership, facilitation, energetic balls of a group, pivoting a plan, life coaching skills, marketing, accepting and giving feedback, and management of a variety of different personalities.
  • Your own life will be changed in more ways than you can imagine, including (but not limited to!) a beauty in understanding being for others is also being for yourself, the confidence which comes from santosha and coming from you are ready now, and a depth of understanding in collaboration techniques (and pivots).

    • October 4 & 5

    • Graduation day, when you will co-teach a public class, will be in the afternoon of our Sunday session.  This is a super-fun day to celebrate you and your fellow trainees and all that you have accomplished.  Tell your most important people to save the date!
  • Via Zoom:
    • 40 Days to Personal Revolution for 6 weeks, in the evening for 1.5 hour - exact dates TBA  (likely to begin early February)
  • Make Up Work
    • Scheduled by you, in person or on zoom, when works best with your schedule

Cost

​Inclusions
  • The Program is $1000
    • After You have apprenticed with Level Above once, you may apprentice a second time for half price.  The expectations of a second-time apprentice are different from those of a first-time apprentice.  Inquire with Lindsey if this is of interest to you.
  • Included materials: Digital Teacher Training Manual, Digital Yoga Anatomy Workbook, Leadership T-shirt, and graduation mala bracelet.
  • Included yoga: unlimited yoga classes during training sessions if in-studio space permits

​Financing
  • There is the opportunity finance the cost of the program over the course of the program, with payments complete by the graduation date.  Discuss options with Lindsey Auman. 
  • Scholarships are available.  If this is of interest to you, let Lindsey Auman know what support you may need in order to participate in the program and she will work with her contacts to see if she is able to raise a scholarship fund for you.

  • Each trainee that registers AFTER you have registered as an apprentice will yield you $100 (if 1 apprentice) or $50 (if 2 apprentices).  So, the sooner you join the apprentice team and step into leadership, the more this benefits you.  This actually means that you could potentially cover your entire tuition if you sign on as an apprentice before any trainees register!
  • We teach the marketing class to the apprentice team in the mid summer.  While this will be available to apprentices who register later via recording, being able to take this lesson live will empower you to ask questions and get more out of it!

  • You must Register for the program before you purchase the program.  The registration is $300 and is non-refundable (unless the program is cancelled).  Once you receive an email from Lindsey Auman notifying you that your registration is approved, you will also receive the link to pay for the remainder of the program.
  • Level Above Yoga School is in alignment with Yoga Alliance’s most current and highest standards of requirements of yoga schools, including live and in-person requirements and leadership from your lead trainer, Lindsey Auman.
  • You are a leader in this program, thus, your memorization of Baptiste Methodology needs to be 100%.  In particular be sure that you can recite, from memory, JIP, TNA, Organizing Principles of TNA, Source Principles, 3 Practices and Techniques, 3 Themes, and Art and Mastery. 
  • For the program to occur, we must have 10 participants.  You are a huge part of this and are expected to participate actively in the info sessions and recruiting of trainees.   If we do not have the minimum enrollees by 7 days before training, we will let all enrolled persons know, so that we can make a last-minute push.    After that, we will allow for 2 more days to see if we can reach the minimum requirement.  If that does not happen, we will issue full refunds for any monies paid, including registration deposits.
